Key objectives:
The Carpentry Foreman is responsible for supervising and coordinating carpentry projects and supervising junior carpenters on all on-site carpentry activities to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with quality standards and building codes. This role leads carpentry crews, coordinates with project management and other trades, and ensures high-quality workmanship.

- Plan and Sequence carpentry work to align with project schedules.
- Coordinate activities with production team.

- Order, receive and manage materials and tools

Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent (trade school preferred).
- 5+ years carpentry experience, including supervisory experience.
- Strong Knowledge of furniture construction methods, materials and tools.
- Ability to interpret designs and specifications accurately.
- Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills.
Candidate must have worked in an interior design company or related industry.

Job Description
- Supervise and lead upholsterers, trimmers and sewing artisan.
- Assign daily tasks and manage workflow to meet production schedules.
- Train new employees and communicate techniques and safety members.
- Monitor performance and productivity.
- Read and interpret orders, drawings and specifications.
- Ensure materials, tools and equipment are available and properly used.

Key objectives:
A talented Design Architect to join our dynamic team and contribute to the creation of unique furniture designs that blend functionality, aesthetics, and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities.
- Collaborate with the design team to conceptualize and develop furniture designs that reflect the company’s brand identity and market trends.
- Create detailed technical drawings, 3D models, and renderings to effectively communicate design concepts to the manufacturing team.
- Research emerging design trends, materials, and manufacturing processes to incorporate innovative ideas into furniture designs.
- Develop prototypes and mock-ups to test and validate design concepts, ensuring feasibility and functionality.
- Work closely with the production team to ensure a seamless transition from design to manufacturing, providing technical guidance as needed.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, industry standards, and ergonomic and safety considerations in all designs.
- Partner with suppliers and manufacturers to select suitable materials, finishes, and hardware, balancing cost, quality, and sustainability.
- Participate in design review meetings, offering insights to improve designs and streamline production processes.
- Manage project timelines to ensure design deliverables meet established deadlines.
Key Required
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture or a related field.
- 3 – 5 years’ experience in furniture design, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Sketch Up, or Rhino for technical drawings and 3D modelling.
- Strong aesthetic sensibility and attention to detail, with the ability to balance form and function in designs.
- In-depth knowledge of materials, finishes, and manufacturing processes used in furniture production.
- Familiarity with sustainability principles and a commitment to eco-friendly design practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to convey design concepts effectively to cross-functional teams.
- Strong project management skills, including task prioritization, meeting deadlines, and adapting to evolving project requirements.
